ACT Team
The Academy for Classical Teachers program is operated by the Great Hearts professional development team based on the belief that passionate, dynamic, continuously active Socratic learning can only be fostered by those who themselves practice it.
Great Hearts Professional Development Team:
- Corinne Jacobson, Sr. Director of Professional Development
- Jennifer Ramirez, Director of Career Pathways
- Erin Diaz, National Professional Development Manager
Partners
- ClassicalU, an online teacher-training platform that provides a clear path toward mastery for classical educators seeking to understand the classical tradition of education and teach with excellence.
- Great Hearts Institute, an outreach dedicated to renewing the tradition of classical education by directly supporting educators, school leaders, and families.
- The University of Dallas, the Catholic University for Independent Thinkers, offers a Classical Education Graduate Program that fosters inquiry, cultivates virtue, and instills wisdom.
Course facilitators are drawn from our friends in higher education, expert teachers, and scholars who have chosen to teach within the public K-12 arena because of the unique opportunities it affords. If you are interested in becoming a facilitator for the ACT program, please visit the “Propose a Course” page.
